CR England Takes A Stand Against Human Trafficking

C.R. England is proud to announce that we have taken a stand against human trafficking and teamed up with the organization Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT). TAT is a national association dedicated to raising awareness of human trafficking in the trucking industry. Trafficking is a billion dollar industry and is prevalent in most nations throughout the world, including the U.S.

According to U.S. government, there are about 300,000 American children at-risk every year to human trafficking. Traffickers have targeted the trucking industry as a prime business for their services. The transient lifestyle of the drivers makes it easy for them to disappear and for the victims of trafficking to get lost in the many unknown faces. It is CR England’s goal in teaming with TAT to bring these victims safely home.

Truckers Against Trafficking has been recognized by U.S. Homeland Security and has successfully assisted in the rescue of over 1,500 children. CR England is honored to be working with them to increase that number. As a company, CR England is working to raise awareness by distributing educational cards to drivers in our schools. The cards include information on how to recognize victims of trafficking along with a trafficking hotline. We have also sent documentary DVDs to several locations and have placed informative posters throughout the halls of our schools.

C.R. England recognizes the horrendous threat of human trafficking. It is real and it is here, and we are dedicated to doing what we can to stop it.
