Not a Bad Time to Become a Truck Driver

CR England Trucking Jobs
According to an article that ran on Freep.com written by Free Press Business Writer John Gallagher, economists are expecting steady growth in the trucking industry. The article discusses the many trucking jobs that are available and highlights the fact that no experience is required.

This is all great news for individuals that are considering a new career in the truck driving industry. Truck driving schools are training drivers for a career in an industry that pays a driver up to $40,000.00 in their first year of employment.

For many the great pay is nice, but the job security of the trucking industry is the new draw especially after all the layoffs that have occurred in other industries. Some trucking jobs may have been lost but carriers like CR England never laid off a single driver in the down turn. In fact CR England hasn’t ever laid off a driver in its 89 year history.

In the article Stevens Transport vice president Angela Horowitz said "There will always be goods moving across our nation, and 80% of all the volume goes over the road" and "Having a CDL and getting involved in transportation is a lot more stable and secure than probably 98% of the other career paths out there."

That’s a fact!

If you or someone you know is looking for an exciting, new career come see what CR England has to offer. CR England has many trucking jobs open for experienced and non-experienced drivers and even truck driving school students are guaranteed a job upon completion of training.
